Is moissanite a real gemstone?

Yes. Moissanite is silicon carbide, a gemstone first found in a meteor crater and now grown in a lab. It is its own stone, not a coating or glass, and it has a higher refractive index than diamond.

Will it get cloudy over time?

No. Moissanite’s sparkle is part of the stone, so it won’t cloud or fade. Clean it with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush to keep it bright.

What is gold vermeil?
